SUMMER CHALLENGE in READING & FITNESS

Harbor City students can participate in a SUMMER CHALLENGE in fitness and reading. These two challenges will include separate monthly drawings. Students should enter the drawings weekly to increase their chances of winning. We will have a drawing in June, July, and August. Prizes will include a Barnes and Noble gift certificate for reading and rock climbing and/or bowling certificates for fitness each month.

Spring Cleaning? Rummage sales?
Supplies Needed for Science Classes/Symposium
If you are spring cleaning and/or visiting some rummage sales this spring be on the look out for the following supplies for spring symposium and other science classes at Harbor City:
~Tinker Toys (need multiple sets)
~Legos (any size, multiple sets needed)
~Marbles and marble ramps and other related items/games
~Knex
~Tubing of various sizes
~Cookie Cutters
~ 1 - Toaster Oven (large w/ tray style, not regular toaster)
~ 1 - Electric Griddle

We plan to offer COLLEGE WRITING I & II and COLLEGE CALCULUS (pending) again during the 2010-2011 school year, as part of our college-in-the-schools program. College credit is granted by Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College.
